South Florida conferences and trade shows in 2027: the calendar
The big business events in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach in 2027, month by month: dates, venues and who goes. Every date comes from the organizer's or the venue's own site; where 2027 isn't announced yet, we show last year's dates.
By Nikita Marushkov · October 2026 · Dates checked on official sites, Oct 22–25, 2026
We film conferences and trade shows across South Florida, so we keep a running calendar of what's coming. This is the 2027 version, cleaned up for event planners, marketing teams and exhibitors deciding where to be next year. It lists 85 business events plus the big public events that sponsors and brands build hospitality around. Dates change: always confirm on the event's own site, linked from its name.
The short answer: the biggest events of 2027
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS): not announced (2026: Oct 28 – Nov 1), Bahia Mar and other marinas, Fort Lauderdale (100,000+ visitors)
eMerge Americas: Mar 2–4, Miami Beach Convention Center (20,000+ attendees)
Cosmoprof North America Miami: Jan 26–28, Miami Beach Convention Center (19,000 visits, 900 exhibitors)
Consensus (crypto and digital assets): May 4–6, Miami Beach Convention Center (15,000 expected)
Miami Build Expo: May 26–27, Miami Beach Convention Center (15,000+, organizer's figure)
WHX Miami (medical equipment): Jun 16–18, Miami Beach Convention Center (13,000+ attendees)
Americas Food & Beverage Show: Sep 27–29, Miami Beach Convention Center (11,700+ on site in 2026)
TPIE (tropical plants): Jan 20–22, Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale (about 7,500 in 2026)
ITEXPO and MSP Expo: Feb 9–11, Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale (7,000+ expected)
PBExpo (aviation and defense): Mar 10–11, Miami Beach Convention Center (7,000+ registered)
ABS East (structured finance): Oct 17–19, Fontainebleau Miami Beach (6,500+ expected)
iConnections Global Alts: Feb 22–25, Miami Beach Convention Center (6,000+ attendees)
PCMA Convening Leaders: Jan 10–13, Miami Beach Convention Center (4,400+ event planners)
Most of the big trade shows land at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Fort Lauderdale's Broward County Convention Center takes the tech, aviation and plant shows, and the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach hosts a steady run of new specialist expos. January to April is the busy season; summer is quieter, and most fall 2027 dates aren't announced yet.
What's new or moving in 2027
New to Miami: CPHI Americas (pharma ingredients) holds its first Miami edition on May 25–26 after leaving Philadelphia, and the IGLTA Global Convention (LGBTQ+ travel) comes to Miami for the first time on Sep 27–30.
Leaving South Florida: the Bitcoin conference moves to Nashville (Jul 15–17), and the Governor's Hurricane Conference, the Florida League of Cities and the Florida Bar convention all meet in Orlando.
Same week, same building: the Americas Food & Beverage Show and IGLTA both list the Miami Beach Convention Center for the last week of September.
Two things catch teams out at South Florida venues. The convention centers in Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach use a union crew for AV, and clean sound for recordings usually comes from the house system, often for a fee. We wrote up the official rules venue by venue: filming a conference in South Florida: venue rules, sound, insurance and drones.
We went through the event calendars of the Miami Beach, Broward County and Palm Beach County convention centers, the Greater Fort Lauderdale visitors bureau's group calendar and the big hotel venues, then checked every event on its organizer's own site. An event is listed with 2027 dates only when the official page states them. We left out music festivals, galas and events whose 2027 dates or format we couldn't confirm.
