Lumberock: “Built to Last” customer story

The most convincing voice for a building product is the person who installs it. This film follows a marine contractor through a real dock build and lets him explain why he chose Lumberock.

What the film shows

A licensed marine contractor, America Strong Construction, builds a new dock for a homeowner who wanted "the top of the line." On site, the contractor explains what matters to him: the decking stays cool enough to walk on barefoot on a 95-degree day, it is light to carry and cuts cleanly, scratches from the install can be removed with a little heat, and dirt washes off with a hose.

The film ends on the finished job: a 110-foot dock with two boat lifts and an 8-by-20-foot terminus, color-matched screws, rope railing and piling caps, built in about two weeks.

How it was filmed

The shoot covered the build on more than one day, mid-construction and on the last day, so the story shows real progress rather than a staged demo. The contractor speaks on camera on the job site, in his own words, with no narrator.

Why customer stories work

Buyers trust installers and customers more than ads. A customer story like this works on a product page, in dealer training and as short clips for social media.
