Lectera: course hosts and a student story for an online school

What we filmed

Why it works for a course

A course needs more than the lesson itself. Hosts who look comfortable on camera, b-roll that gives every chapter a fresh start, and a real student who shows the result: together they make a course people finish and recommend.

The film above is narrated in Nikita's own words, read by an AI voice made from his, over an instrumental of "Leave It to Video Department", the original song we wrote for this project.

From the shoot

Some hosts like to talk freely. Others prefer a teleprompter. We only use professional teleprompters, and we always offer one.

Most of our lesson shoots run on two cameras: one from the front, one from the side.

We also help choose the location. Sometimes it's a rented studio, sometimes the client's own office. We can make it work.

Some of the b-roll is planned. And some moments we catch by pure luck.

This is a real student, not an actor.

What we're proudest of: Lectera became a regular client, and we've made a lot of good-looking online courses together.
